Shorter construction timeline

Our modular proton vaults and centers offer a comprehensive and customizable proton solution without the long construction schedule typical of traditional proton center construction. High-grade modular construction occurs in factory-controlled conditions while the foundation and utilities are installed on-site. Overlapping on-site and off-site activities leads to a shorter timeline than consecutive builds using traditional construction.

Features of our modular approach

Adaptive configurations

Our modular approach facilitates a comprehensive and customizable proton solution easily tailored to meet any single, double, or multi-gantry design configuration.

Reduction in shielding volume

The superior performance of our shielding technology allows for a reduction in shielding volume, leading to more usable clinic space and a smaller construction footprint.

Patented high-density shielding technology

Our patented high-density shielding technology outperforms concrete for most clinical beam energies. It is not subject to the same long-term activation typical of concrete shielding used in conventional proton vaults.

Why choose RAD Technology Medical Systems?

RAD's modular facilities present a range of key advantages. Firstly, they significantly reduce the time required for project completion, expediting the speed to market and making the facility available sooner. This accelerated timeline can be crucial for healthcare providers aiming to address pressing needs or respond to changes in demand more rapidly.

Secondly, these modular structures offer extensive customizability. Healthcare institutions can tailor various aspects, including the facility's size, the number of stories, and both interior and exterior finishes. This flexibility allows the modular building to integrate with existing structures, preserving the overall aesthetics and functionality of the healthcare campus.

When installed on existing healthcare campuses, these modular buildings blend seamlessly into the landscape, providing a permanent solution that meets the healthcare provider's needs. RAD's modular structures are built to endure, standing the test of time and delivering long-term value with versatility for expanding or upgrading healthcare facilities.
